Professional SLC 1550 FLEX is a single pack, fast-drying, universal renovation screed with fiberflex microfibre technology. It is manufactured from a controlled blend of special sands, cements and synthetic polymers to give a high quality flooring product which is self-levelling and smoothing. For use in fast track domestic and commercial situations, such as, where levelling of up to 50mm is required or for use over underfloor heating and on more difficult substrates, e.g. timber.

Notes/What Affects Coverage

• Coverage decreases as bed thickness increases (for example for uneven floors or large format tiles you might use a thicker bed).

• If you need a 5 mm bed, expect lower coverage — roughly 3–4 m² per 20 kg bag (industry norm for cement-based adhesives).

• Porous or rough substrates can also increase usage slightly.

GypDeck Adhesive is specially formulated single component moisture curing polyurethane with excellent
water resistant characteristics. The adhesive is used to bond the joints of gypsum boards, offering high strength and a high level of water resistance.

Preparation & Application

GypDeck Adhesive should be applied to the joints of the boards. It has an open time of 10 minutes once applied to allow all boards to be installed suitably before the adhesive starts to cure and set. Adhesive should be stored in the original container in a cool, dry place, at a temperature range of between 5°C and 25°C. In these conditions it has a storage life of 3 months.
