Our carbon underfloor heating film is perfect for installation under carpet and vinyl flooring. At less than 0.5mm thick, it has minimal impact on floor height. It is laid over 6mm Depron insulation, replacing standard underlay, keeping the total height increase to just 6.5mm—ideal for new builds and renovations.
It must be used with the HeatPak overlay boards (3mm base + 4mm top board) which is including with the system.

Suitable for vinyl 8mm and below. If 9mm+ you will need to order the carbon mat for Engineered Wood & Laminate floors. Always check with your flooring company that their flooring is suitable for electric UFH.

Not suitable for bathrooms

Avoid placing thermal blocks (e.g. rugs, bean bags, mattresses) over the heating system as this could cause the system to over heat.

Before ordering please send us your drawings to sales@theunderfloorheatingsite.co.uk – We will work out the best layout for you, please send a drawing of your room(s), including accurate measurements and any obstacles or thermal blocks. This is required before we can begin manufacturing your mats, as they come in various widths and will be cut specifically to fit your space.

Once we receive your drawing, we’ll design a layout for your approval. Production will only begin after you confirm the final plan.

HeatPak is a dual overboard system comprising of a 4mm top board and a 3mm base board for use with Underfloor Heating systems as an overlay to protect either the electric carbon film underneath soft floor coverings or the pipes running in a foil coated XPS overlay board.

For underfloor heating systems that require a floor finish of Carpet or vinyl and where no screes or leveling compounds are being used.

It can also be used without heating for the same floor finishes, if your floor needs to be level.

The boards come as a 4mm top board and a 3mm base board, fixed together once energised with impact adhesive.
