Electric Underfloor Heating Mat For Tiles Porcelain Or Stone – Premium Cable Mat Kit 200w
Our underfloor heating for tiles, porcelain or stone comes in the form of electric cable that mats allow underfloor heating to be laid over large areas in a short amount of time. They are externally versatile, offering the flexibility to heat any room shape and size.
The cable mat system is similar to other loose cable systems, except that the cable comes ready taped to a 50cm wide fibreglass mesh. This makes it much faster and manageable to lay in larger open plan areas.
The 200w Mat is based on the same design as 150w mat but the output has been increased to 200 watts per square metre making it ideal for underfloor heating in conservatories and glass rooms and other areas where there is more heat loss.
Please Note: Floor coverage is calculated as 85% of the total floor due to the gaps between each run and perimeter gap between the wall and the mat.
Each cable mat system comes complete with:
- Heating cable supplied woven to a self adhesive mesh
- Fully programmable thermostat controller with floor probe
- Floor primer
- Roller for primer
- Simple installation instructions
- Manufacturers lifetime warranty

An important point to note is that we only supply ‘twin core’ heating cables. Twin core cables have two heating elements inside which gives two important advantages over ‘single core’ cables.
Firstly you only have one end to connect to the power supply, which is a big advantage during the installation process.
Secondly the EMF (electromagnetic field) which is created in all electrical appliances and wiring is dramatically reduced, to a level where it is almost immeasurable. Whilst this may not be a major concern for you today, there is a lot of research currently being undertaken around the globe into the effects of EMF and it is impossible to predict what findings may occur in the years ahead.

The Varme cable kit is a versatile system, for the correct cable kit size, you must first measure the free floor area of the room.
Note:Â When calculating the size, please remember to exclude the area taken up by any fixed objects such as baths, showers, kitchen units etc.
For larger areas than those detailed on the chart please contact us for further information as these areas have a different electrical installation than standard sizes.
