Specifications & Installation

Heat-Pak® is a free-floating sub-floor that is suitable
for both commercial and domestic use and is exclusively
distributed by Floor Heating Systems Limited in
the UK.

The dual over-board system is designed specifically
for use over a dry-fit, floating, underfloor heating system
such as the Carbon Heating Film system. Heat-
Pak® provides a smooth, stable surface to which
most floor coverings can be fixed, but especially
suited to carpet, linoleum, vinyl and cork, due to the
high tolerance that the top surface is manufactured
to. Most importantly the thermal conductivity of the
Heat-Pak® system is exceptionally high compared to
conventional floating floors, allowing heat to pass
through the floor finish and into the room with no significant
loss of efficiency.

Installation is quick, clean and simple. The Heat-
Pak® system consists of a composite base board
with a precision-finished top board. An interactive
adhesive bonds each layer together, providing a stable
base to which the floor finish can be fixed. The
boards can be worked easily and cut without producing
dust or debris.

Composition and manufacture
Heat-Pak® is manufactured from composite wood.
