Installation & Finishing Guidelines

Installation: These boards facilitate a swift installation process over a flat, level subfloor. They can also be applied over other substrates when installed in a fully supported manner, with a DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) as required.

Timber Base: When applying onto timber, it is essential to secure the panels with mechanical fixings and washers. Ensure that the fixings are of an appropriate length for the application.

Concrete Base: When laid directly onto concrete, the boards should be affixed using a bed of combed tile adhesive (S1 or equivalent). In some cases, mechanical fixings may also be necessary depending on the substrate.

Finishing: In most applications, an additional board is unnecessary, and flooring can be laid directly onto the upper surface. Wood flooring products should be installed using a suitable underlay following the manufacturer’s instructions. Flooring grade tiles can be placed on a suitable layer of combed tile adhesive.

Suitable For: These boards are suitable for both new build and retrofit installations.
